Some Reduction in Militant Attacks; Violence Still High

The week under review (4–10 September) witnessed a decline in overall militant activity and a substantial reduction in casualties compared with the preceding week. A total of 54 militant attacks were recorded, compared with 61 during the previous week, representing an 11.5% decrease.
