Pakistaniat is PICSS’s youth-engagement initiative promoting tolerance, social inclusion, constructive citizenship and national cohesion.
Engaging young Pakistanis
Launched in 2018, the initiative has used conferences, seminars, dialogues and webinars to engage young people and other stakeholders on questions of identity, inclusion, moderation, social cohesion and resilience against extremist narratives.
The programme reflects PICSS’s wider conviction that sustainable security requires not only analysis of violence and conflict, but also constructive engagement with the social and ideological pressures that can contribute to polarisation and radicalisation.
