These Terms of Access govern use of PICSS public content, My PICSS Accounts, individual-report access, subscription access and other subscriber services provided through this website.
1. Acceptance and scope
By creating an account, obtaining paid or contribution-based access, or using subscriber-only services, you agree to these Terms of Access and the related PICSS policies linked from this website. Public visitors may browse open material without creating an account.
2. My PICSS Accounts
Account information must be accurate and kept reasonably current. Login credentials are for the authorised account holder and should not be shared. You are responsible for reasonable security of your account and should notify PICSS promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
3. Individual-report access
Individual-report access unlocks only the report identified at the time of access. It does not create a Weekly Insight, Monthly Insight, Premium Plus or other subscription. The grant remains attached to the My PICSS Account used for the transaction unless a different validity period is expressly stated or access is withdrawn for misuse, legal requirements or a refund/reversal.
4. Subscription access
A subscription grants the entitlements stated for the selected plan during its active validity period. Different plans may run independently and may have different start and expiry dates. Premium Plus includes the products specifically stated on the access page and does not include PICSS Militancy Database access unless that is expressly included.
5. Personal and institutional use
Unless PICSS has agreed an institutional or multi-user arrangement in writing, subscriber access is for one authorised user. Organisations requiring access for several people should request institutional access.
6. Permitted use
You may read, download where a download is provided, cite and use PICSS material for your own research, professional or internal organisational purposes. Reasonable quotation from PICSS material is permitted with clear attribution and, where practical, a link to the original PICSS page or publication.
7. Prohibited use
Without written permission, you may not redistribute subscriber-only reports, share account credentials, republish substantial portions of PICSS material, systematically download or scrape content, copy or reconstruct PICSS databases, circumvent access controls or watermarks, resell PICSS material, or use subscriber content to create a competing data product. Automated extraction or use of substantial PICSS content for training machine-learning models or building derivative datasets requires prior written permission.
8. Payments and activation
Access is activated only after the applicable payment or bank transfer has been successfully verified. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by PICSS. Bank-transfer and invoice requests remain pending until PICSS verifies receipt.
9. Suspension and termination
PICSS may suspend or withdraw access where there is evidence of account sharing, unauthorised redistribution, attempted circumvention of access controls, fraud, misuse of the service or a legal/security requirement. Where appropriate, PICSS will seek to contact the account holder before or after taking action.
10. Service availability and changes
PICSS may update its website, report formats, access plans, features and technical systems. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security or circumstances beyond PICSS control. Material already published may be corrected or updated when new information becomes available.
11. Third-party services and links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, email providers, video platforms and external research sources. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use those services.
12. Contact
Questions about access may be sent to subscriptions@picss.net. General enquiries may be sent to info@picss.net.
